Jenni Entrican becomes EBF President
The Revd Jenni Entrican has become the new President of the European Baptist Federation (EBF). Jenni, a former President of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, became the second woman to assume the role following her induction at the EBF’s annual council in Yerevan, Armenia.

Today, on 23 August 2017, Karen and Knud Wümpelmann celebrate their 70th marriage anniversary. In the 1970s and 80s Knud Wümpelmann first served as President and later as General Secretary for the EBF. We congratulate Karen and Knud wholeheartedly, and wish them much love, joy and peace, and God’s blessings for the days to come!
God is at work on Turkey’s Black Sea coast
On a Sunday morning in June, 25 new Christian believers were baptized in a nearby river in Turkey’s Black Sea region. In addition to seven Turkish believers, refugees from Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan were among those baptized.
Stuart Blythe to leave IBTSC Amsterdam
Revd Dr Stuart Blythe, Rector of IBTSC Amsterdam will be leaving IBTSC to take up a new position as Associate Professor in the John Gladstone Chair of Preaching and Worship at Acadia Divinity College.
